As a Project Engineer at Wiegmann, you will gain expertise in designing cost-effective, energy-efficient, and high-performing mechanical HVAC systems. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting HVAC building heating/cooling load calculations, interpreting and analyzing building/energy/mechanical codes, designing ductwork and piping systems, selecting suitable HVAC equipment, and performing energy consumption and demand calculations. Throughout the project lifecycle, Project Engineers actively collaborate with the building design team to coordinate mechanical systems with other disciplines. Wiegmann utilizes cutting-edge design and construction software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, Navisworks, and Trimble SysQue to virtually model designs, generate construction documents, and facilitate successful system installations.
