Held annually during the first full week of March, WIC Week spotlights the importance of diversity, equity, and opportunity in building the future.
What is WIC Week?
Women in Construction (WIC) Week is a nationwide initiative that advances and promotes the vital role of women in the construction industry. Led by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), WIC Week® brings together thousands of people across the country for events that elevate, connect, and spotlight women in all facets of the built environment.
Purpose and Impact
WIC Week serves three key purposes:
- Amplify the contributions and achievements of women in construction and construction-related fields.
- Educate the public and industry peers about the opportunities available to women in the industry.
- Inspire the next generation of builders, engineers, and tradespeople.
